AZ Partsmaster - A Commitment To Our Communities

A Brief History


In October 1985, AZ Partsmaster was established to distribute general maintenance supplies within the apartment industry. Our founder, Dave Schlecht, built AZ Partsmaster from his home garage with only a few products.


In only three years, the company was ready to move to a five-thousand square foot warehouse in Glendale, AZ. It was clear that a commitment to our customers and the community we work in was something missing from the industry. The AZ Partsmaster team was serving customers in a way unknown to the rest of the industry.


In 1995, in a day before everyone had access to the internet, AZ Partsmaster published our first catalog. Development of our catalog came from our commitment to make supply management easier for our customers and give us a way to serve them better. It took us a year to get it right, but our second catalog published in 1996 was a tremendous success for our customers and our team.


As a regional supplier to the MRO industry, we committed ourselves to serving our customers with same-day delivery in every community we serve. We knew that to bring same day service; we would need to have a local warehouse in major metropolitan areas and in 1995 we opened our second warehouse in Tucson, AZ.
