    Our tankless water heaters are not water storage vessels. The heaters are only activated when the hot water is being used. Power to heat the water is therefore only being used when the hot water is being used.

U.S. federal regulation require the flow rate at public lavatories be no more than 0.5 gallons per minute (1.9 liters per minute) Waiting for hot water to arrive is wasted water and energy. If your water heater is 10 feet (3 meters) you will have to wait 30 seconds at 0.5 GPM (1.9 liters per minute).

    By not being a storage vessel, Chronomite tankless water heaters have no issue with seismic code. There's no need to anchor or strap a large, bulky water heater.

    Electronic Temperature Control
    Chronomite Instant-Temp models are great for applications where a specific water temperature is required. Microprocessor technology is used to accomplish this feat.

    Sensor and Metering Faucet
    The Chronomite Instant-Temp was designed to serve single and multiple-basin sinks with either standard, sensor or metering faucet. Through the unique power modulating control of the microprocessor, the heater enables all faucets to deliver instant hot water at selected temperatures.

    Anti-Scalding
    Chronomite Instant-Temp® water heaters give you the ability to set a specific temperature, which the heater will not exceed. For example, hand washing applications can be factory preset to 102 degrees Fahrenheit (38 degrees Celsius)

    Prevent Growth of Legionella
  • Legionella is a deadly water-based bacteria that thrives in hot water systems. It grows rapidly between 68 degrees Fahrenheit (20 degrees Celsius) to 122 degrees Fahrenheit (50 degrees Celsius).
  • The disease is sometimes mistaken for pneumonia.
  • The bacteria remains dormant in cold water systems below 68 degrees Fahrenheit (20 degrees Celsius)
